Even though one of our soldiers left home, we continued our trip together as Dastrahan up until LA: Ruslan, Helen, Andrew and myself. Ruslan and Andrej where swapping behind the wheel, I and Helenplayed the role of navigators, thereby creating the perfect alliance. In Dodge, the third guys traveled on, where there was one experienced driver with a driver’s license, an inexperienced driver without a license, and not a driver at all. In another Ford, as far as I know, 3 experienced drivers traveled. There were certainly no grievances without this, there will always be something or someone who does not like the situation, but in such conditions it is necessary to adapt. At this stage, the guys agreed on one thing: Andrei drove to Chicago steadily at the wheel, Leonid only arrived, so it was quite honest to give Andrei a break from the steering wheel. About the car with 3 drivers, in which 2 pairs were traveling, the conversation at that stage never rose. Waking up early was getting harder and harder, but it seems to me that we were already slightly worried about being late and not leaving in time.
So we started our Route 66.
