PORRIDGE DOESN’T HAVE TO BE BORING

Oatmeal or porridge is amazing and has lots of health benefits. Be creative when making your porridge and experiment by adding different ingredients.

Here is the example of my porridge.

Ingredients:

* 1/2 glass of oats
* 2/3 milk (use any you like)

* 2 dates (soak in boiled water for a minute or so, cut in small pieces)
* 1/2 tea spoon of each: chia seeds, matcha powder & flaked almonds
* 20-40g dark chocolate
* agave syrup

Mix all and cook in a saucepan for couple of minutes until ready.

I sometimes add spirulina instead of matcha powder and garnish with mixed nuts, berries, fruits other seeds, yoghurt or honey. Add anything you like really.

– easy to digest
– help control insulin secretion
– help lower cholesterol
